About Me
I am Anat, Israeli in origin, and in the last eight years I'm based in Prague, Czech Republic. I dreamt of living in Europe so I followed my dream, and moved to Prague with my family back in This beautiful city is amazing, and I love very much living there. I speak Czech quiet well.
I have two sons, 24 and 28 years old, they are both software developers. I am very proud of them. Now both of them rent their own apartments, so it's time for me to explore the world with pet sitting.
I studied History of Art and I run a translation and editing agency for over thirty years. Now I'm doing a career shift to technology.
I sing in a Czech choir and I love to explore new places, culture, art, history, and meet new and inspiring people.
Before I moved to Prague I also sang Baroque and early music. In Prague we perform with the choir in the most beautiful concert halls and churches. I also like to learn new languages, and very communicative and open. I love to take new challenges and I'm very optimistic person.
I don't smoke. I'm looking to house sit and pet sit in order to explore new places. I take good care of the house and facilities, and I put a lot of love in everything I do.
Why I Want to House Sit
I would like to explore new places and cultures. I need wi-fi to continue my work remotely and I don't have a car, so if I can use the owner's car, that will be great (if that's neccessary of course). I love nature and I really love also the city life.
My Experience
I'm very experienced in house sitting and pet sitting. I love cats and dogs and I treat them with a lot of love. I used to have a cat for ten years, and when I was a child I used to have a dog and a rabbit. I did a lot of house sitting and pet sitting during the Covid year, since I was "stuck" in Israel for a long period.
I have experience with giving pills and sirop to a cat and I'm not afraid of giving any medicine to the pet.
When I did pet sitting in Israel during the Covid year, I was in constant communications with the owners of the pet and/or house. I sent photos, reports about the pet's behavior, and I made the owners very happy. For example there was Riki, with three amazing cats, who flew to New York to visit her grandchildren. She always wrote to me: "you are amazing. I feel so relaxed to know that you take care of my babies… I'm so happy that you take care of them". One of the cats had to take medicine twice a day, and it all went very well.
Another example was Tommi, the dog that I took care of. He was very frightening at first, he was scared of strangers, but after one day he was my best friend, came to my bed and got many cuddles and hugs. I was a little bit afraid before I met the dog, since it was abused in the past and the owner told me that it takes time to get used to him, but in the end all went well and he was very cute.
What Can I Bring to the Assignment?
I am very reliable, quiet, gentle, clean, loving life and people, I work from home so I will secure your house and pet. I will bring a lot of love to your pets and I will keep you constantly updated. When you return home you will be very pleased and happy.
* I am living in Prague, but I can fly or go by bus/train. I come alone, and if it suits the owners, sometimes a friend or one of my sons may join me for part of the period.
