About Me
Hi there! I’m a Tech Consultant (Project Management, Partnerships, Customer Success) who grew up in Westboro and graduated from Lisgar and Western. Based in San Francisco, I'm very active and have a condo in South Beach.
As my father gets older, I’m returning to Ottawa more often to help look after him. Someone suggested looking into house sitting - what a great idea!
Why I Want to House Sit
Looking after your home while I’m back to look after my dad is a win/win. Affordable accommodation makes these increasingly frequent trips to Ottawa doable. And as a pet lover, coming home to walk your furbabies would be the icing on the cake!
My Experience
Having owned my own homes for 20 years (house, garden, condo) makes me a very conscientious house sitter. I also raised the sweetest furbaby from 4-months to 16.5 years so I’m a seasoned pet owner with the scar tissue to prove it! ;-)
I’ve primarily helped friends and family in the past. Learning about HouseCarers, I’m now happy to use these skills to help give Ottawans peace of mind so they can enjoy their vacations.
Additional Safety/Emergency Preparedness Skills
As a former consultant, I’m used to traveling the world and dealing with whatever life, airlines and clients send your way! I’m a very positive, adaptable and resourceful individual.
In addition to my professional experience and dog owner experience, I also bring community, safety and emergency-preparedness experience.
For example, I'm a FEMA-trained, 12-year certified member of the San Francisco Fire Department’s Neighborhood Emergency Response Team.
