An international teacher and writer with gardening and farming experience in Bern, Switzerland and West Virginia, as Uncle Chauncey I've helped care for homes of friends and families in Europe and the States.
Why I wish to house sit:
Moving to Las Vegas after the last seven years abroad, I seek arrangements whereby I could get to know neghborhoods and learn of potential schools where I'll begin teaching social studies in September 2024.
Well-rounded background:
My family had three cocker spaniels simultaneously when I was a child, and I've always enjoyed caring for pets. I lived in a historic upscale antiques home with shop outside New York where our large calico cat rigned as queen. With a farm background, I'm passionate about animals.
Half-German, I'm punctual, conscientious and reliable. I love plants, treating them as friends during Covid lockdown near Vienna.
An old girlfriend used to house sit when I was in grad school, but this time in Vegas begins my official role as a house sitter.
What I do:
I have several long-term online students working with a European government, as well as engineers and univeristy students in China, South Korea and the UK. I also write historical/biographical screenplays and songs.
