We would like a kind, responsible, retired couple to house and dog sit for us when we return to England in August for approximately 3 months.

Our home is in a rural part of SE Thailand near Sattahip. It is situated in a small village without a bus or taxi service, so the applicants MUST be able to drive competently and have an International Driving License. We have a Toyota truck for use which is insured, taxed and has regular maintenance from the Toyota garage.

We have very good restaurants in the area and these are not expensive. There are many places of interest, including Nong Nooch Botanical gardens just 2 miles away, the floating market and many other places. There are beaches around the area, the closest being at Bang Sare, about 4 miles away.

We have a medium sized garden which needs attention daily - mainly watering and pruning. September is the beginning of the monsoon season so less watering is required.

There is also a swimming pool and we usually have a man in for care and maintenance weekly, but it may need some attention.

The house is cared for weekly by our cleaning lady, so not too much work involved.

The main concern for us is the care of our Labrador, Pippa. She is nearly 11 years old and requires a daily walk of about an hour in the EARLY MORNING when its not too hot. We have some good walks around the area. She loves a game and enjoys her grooming. She needs a weekly shower. She is a house dog and must NOT be left outside if you go out. She is happy to be left about 5 or 6 hours maximum, but NOT on a regular basis. She is used to company and needs it.

She is in good health and we are registered with our local vet. All her vaccinations are up to date.

Our house has most of the amenities you require.

We have had house-sitters over the past 6 years and they will be able to testify to the situation here should you need to contact them.
