Our home is on a semirural acreage block at New Beith, approximately 45km by road south-west of the Brisbane CBD.
We have a large garden that will require some watering if there is not much rain. Mowing may also be required. We have a ride-on mower for the acreage and a Victa for around the house.
There are some hens,a cockatiel and some goldfish to be looked after. The hens provide a steady supply of eggs.
Wildlife, particularly birdlife is plentiful in the area. A wide range of bird species visit our bird-bath. Kangaroos occasionally visit our land.
Space is available for parking a caravan on the block.
Your own vehicle will be essential as there is no public transport in the area. The nearest supermarket is 6km. There are three larger shopping centres within 20km.
It is about 40 minutes to Brisbane, 50 minutes to the Gold Coast, 45 minutes to Brisbane Airport and 90 minutes to the Sunshine Coast.
There is easy access to the Lamington National Park, Mt Tamborine and the Scenic Rim in the Gold Coast hinterland.
