Due to mishap to our booked sitters we are urgently seeking new sitters!!
We live on a 27 acre bushblock, 55 minutes out of Melbourne CBD.
We currently have 3 dogs, and lots of chooks and ducks. Shops are close by, but as we are on a hill, we do not see or hear our neighbors, so we have the best of both worlds. We do however have a magnificent view.
We have a few buildings on the property- all "old style", and a beautiful pond in front of the house, with sauna. Most people call this paradise, as are we.
We have 3 dogs- 2 border collies that love to accompany you on any work or relaxing to be done, and a 1 year old Irish wolfhound, that is still very playful. Paddocks are available would you like to bring a horse.
Sadly my computer has crashed and I cannot add photo's but google TRICKLE HILL in Cockatoo, and you will find our blog made for backpackers - it will give you plenty of ideas on how and where we live.
Overseas sitters; Please realise Australia has visa restrictions.
A few jobs need doing to keep the pace going. (weeding, brushcutting, chopping wood, the occasional emergency repair and mail managing) and, we appreciate a proactive atiitude towards any jobs coming up- we will stay in contact of course as much as we can.
We are travelling WA- with 2 of our children, and as the dynamics and the plan is still unsure we are planning to travel between 4 and 6 months. If we would come back earlier then hoped we have a second accommodation that can house you for a while when we are back.
We strongly prefer a couple and/ or people that are not working full time, as the sit is mainly to make sure the dogs have company regularly so they don't run away.
