Do you like birds and flowers? How about organic heirloom tomatoes and vegetables. Our yard is full of all of these things. We live in Hastings on the Mississippi and the Vermillion Rivers, so it is very scenic and it is an historic city-lots of great houses to see. We are right across the St. Croix river from Prescott, Wisconsin. If you enjoy outdoor activities there are many options:The area has lovely parks and trails for hiking and biking. The birdwatching is good in our back yard and local natural areas. Afton State Park and Carpenter St. Croix Nature Center are within miles. We are also just minutes from Minneapolis-St. Paul and the Mall of America.
We have a modest split-level home that is not a lot of bother to care for and a fenced yard where our dog enjoys playing with a ball and a friend. Our cats are older and like some attention but aren't very demanding
