Hello! We are looking for a responsible cat-loving housesitter to care for our house and look after three indoor/outdoor cats while we're away!
We live in a turn-of-the-century bungalow in small-town Kansas. Our town, though very small, has all the necessary amenities within walking distance--grocery store, general store, pharmacy, restaurants--plus a restored 1930s movie theater with weekly showings. Just outside town is a charming lake with opportunities for swimming, water sports, and wandering.
The house has cable TV, wireless internet throughout and plenty of books to read. Your duties will be to feed the cats each day and interact with them. (They love affection.)
You will probably want your own vehicle.
We're ideally looking for a single person, probably a woman, because our cats seem to run away from new men.
If you happened to live relatively close, we'd also love to discuss other housesitting in the future, as we travel a lot and it'd be great for the cats to be comfortable with the same person each time.
