I have a funky old house a few blocks from downtown Nanaimo that I am currently restoring. Small, comfortable, overlooking the harbour. Easy strolling distance to the best restaurants in Nanaimo, and a wonderful seawall that stretches along the harbour.
If you are looking for things like satellite TV,PVR, a hot tub, or a swimming pool, this is definitely NOT the place for you! I do have wifi, a killer view, a nicely stocked kitchen (and library), and the most comfortable (double-sized) bed in the city, IMHO.
She who rules the house is Myrtle...a little mutt with a big attitude. She needs a morning, afternoon and evening walk. She may head out in the afternoon with the neighbour dogs...or she may just prefer to hang with you.
