Hi. Unfortunately the house sitter we had lined up has had to cancel due to a medical emergency so at this late stage we are looking for a couple with their own transport to house sit our home and look after our little dog, Cassie, from 18th May, 2014 to 30th September, 2014 (approx. 4.5 months) while we go caravaning around Australia. Cassie is a 3 year old Maltese/Shihtzu who suffers from separation anxiety and needs to be with people We live in the beautiful seaside town of Port Macquarie on the mid north coast of NSW. The town is built on the Hastings River and has many beautiful beaches and walking tracks. There are lots of restaurants and coffee shops,a theatre, art galleries, a large library and there are also 3 clubs in town.
Our home is a free standing 4 bedroom house with swimming pool and backing on to a beautiful treed reserve. The beach and golf course are a couple of minutes drive away and there is a lovely walking path metres from our back gate. The centre of town is about 7kms away with two separate shopping centres and there is a Coles Supermarket about 2 kms from our home. Looking forward to hearing from anyone who might be interested in house sitting for us.
