Requirements: Take care of house and very friendly indoor/outdoor cat while we are in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for the winter.
Rochester is located on the south shore of Lake Ontario, near the Finger Lakes region, and only about 75 miles from Niagara Falls. Rochester is home to many museums and galleries as well as other cultural activities. Winter is a lively time in Rochester. There are ski slopes within an hour or two, sledding and cross country skiing in the parks, and there are plans for an ice rink in one of the city parks. We hire a company to keep the driveway plowed, so there would not be much shoveling to do, when the snow flies.
Rochester is home to the University of Rochester, Rochester Institute of Technology, and about 5 other colleges and universities are in the area. We have a world class philharmonic, and numerous theatres. There are also many museums and art galleries.
We live in a friendly, safe neighborhood. The house is a three story, three bedroom home with a fenced back yard and one and a half baths. There is a washer and dryer in the basement. The kitchen has a dishwasher and was recently remodeled.
