We require a non-smoking couple who enjoy living in a bush environment. Given the fact we have two large dogs, a fit couple is preferable.
Our 5 bedroom 2 bathroom, airconditioned, rustic style but modern home is located in a rural area on a conservation zoned 'lifestyle' property of 30 acres.
We have no livestock, but two domestic dogs - a 1 year old german shepherd and a 4 year old golden retriever.
We live from rainwater tanks, have installed 3 KW solar panels for electricity generation and have solar hot water (though we also have mains power). We would expect the couple would be water wise and aware of the fire hazards/safety issues when living in a bush environment, as our family of 4 are.
We have internet connection and wifi. The garden consists of some garden beds, a vege patch and reticulated lawns back and front.
We live 20 mins from the local city and shopping area, a quiet low traffic road takes you there. There is no bus service in this area (apart from school run)! so you would need a car to get around.
Features of the home would be beautiful serene views, bush walking tracks along fire breaks (as our parents own the neighbouring 30 acres) and a great deck with pizza oven.
Duties would include general garden up keep (mow lawn fortnightly), keep the house clean and tidy (as most of you do anyway), keeping us up to date while we are away via and all importantly, feed, water, walk and keep our dogs good company!!!
