I need a wonderful loving person to stay in my home from to care for my Bichon Frise while I am in Texas training for my new job. Guy is a rescue dog I've had since January. He is a little less than 2 yrs old and is a total sweetheart. He loves to go for walks...we take at least two a day, mornings for about 2 miles, afternoons shorter. (The only time he poops is on his walks so he needs those two outings each day at the very least)...but he is also happy to run errands or just hang out all day. He is great on the leash and in the car, good with people and other dogs and also loves to run around in the backyard. I usually leave the back door open for him and let him run around while I am home but never leave him out there alone when I am not home. He always has to be on the leash when he is not at home because he is a big cat chaser and will take off with no notice if not firmly attached to you. He is easy to feed, kibble is all mixed and he gets 1/2 a cup in the morning and in the afternoon and that is about it.
My home is a beautifully remodeled 1914 California bungalow and the room you would be staying is quite lovely...Queen sized bed, garden views, etc. (I often rent it out via fir $50-$65 a night) You would have access to the whole house which includes living room with fireplace, dining room, gourmet kitchen and bathroom downstairs plus TV room off my bedroom upstairs. There is internet and cable and you can park your car( if you have one) in the garage. We are also walking distance to BART if you do not have a car or just don't want to use it.
There is very little that needs to be done to take care of the house other than cleaning up after yourself and remembering to set the alarm when you leave and turn it off in a timely fashion when you get back. The garden is taken care of by the gardener and I have no indoor plants so this is all about being a good caretaker for Guy.
I would like to have time to meet with you and have you meet Guy and see the house well before the 14th so immediate response would be much appreciated.
