I require a house sitter to look after my pets while my children and I go overseas to visit my family. I have 2 small dogs, one of which is 15 years old and he would not survive being put in kennels. They love going for walks but not too long because of the older one. My 2 cats are pretty much self sufficient. I also have 2 rabbits and 2 guinea pigs who just need feeding daily and their hutches cleaned out maybe once a week. I live in a very quiet suburb near to the beach.
