A perfect opportunity for bunny- and nature-loving writers or artists looking to nature and small-town New England charm for inspiration or a quiet respite from more harried environs.
We're looking for a gentle animal-friendly non-smoker to care for our affectionate indoor rabbit and attend to household and seasonal chores such as houseplant and garden watering.
Ideal candidate will be willing to spend an hour or so each night petting rabbit (great time to read or watch TV), scoop and refill litter box, change water, refill pellets, and be up at 6-7 a.m. to rinse and feed fresh veggies to him; rabbit is most attention-seeking at dawn and 7-10 p.m. Fish just needs morning feedings.
Area affords day trips to Boston, NH Lakes Region, Seacoast. The house is situated on a three acre lot evenly split between field and forest, set back from a designated scenic byway; a trailhead for town-maintained walking trails is located directly across the street, the town beach (lake) is a 3-minute drive and the history-steeped town center (with two local museums open during weekly farmers’ market) is a pleasant two-plus mile walk from the house.
No dogs, cats or smoking allowed on the premises due to family allergies.
