We need a reliable person/couple to care for our Lulu and our home (references will be required). Lulu is a small dog, and her care is of paramount importance. She needs to be walked twice a day for about a half-mile on each walk. She needs to be fed twice a day and needs a couple of extra potty breaks throughout the day/evening. She's incredibly spoiled (you'll need to cook chicken and rice for her) but she is very sweet and cuddly, a true lap dog.
We live in a very nice townhouse with all mod-cons. Everything is within walking distance: supermarkets, a retro cinema, coffee shops, boutiques, etc. Friendly, helpful neighbors.
One mile to the station where you can get a train into Philadelphia ($1 for seniors) or a bus into Manhattan ($11 for seniors). NOTE: IF LULU IS IN RESIDENCE--THE MOST LIKELY SCENARIO--SHE CANNOT BE LEFT ALONE FOR MORE THAN 3-4 HOURS, SO LONGISH SIGHTSEEING TRIPS WOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE. IF SHE SPENDS THE THREE MONTHS WITH OUR DAUGHTER, THEN THE ONLY RESTRICTION IS THAT THE HOUSESITTER(S) SLEEP HERE EVERY NIGHT.
Keep the house clean and tidy (it will be clean and tidy when you arrive). Very tiny garden areas front/back; weed pulling will be much appreciated.
