We had arranged for a couple to stay but a last minute medical emergency has prevented them from coming, so we are again looking for a couple, two friends or an independant single to come and stay.
We have a small holiday cottage complex in Brittany close to the Nantes/Brest canal. It is in an area that abounds with opportunities for cycling, fishing, walking or just chilling out in the wonderful peaceful countryside. The area is one of outstanding natural beauty. and we are close to a traditional French market town. We should like to find a mature couple who would occupy a two bedroomed mobile home with an air conditioning unit (hot and cold), its’ own covered deck and access to the swimming pool for the summer when we have visitors. A well behaved pet would be welcome.
In exchange for accommodation/utilities/telephone/WiFi we would like help at the weekends with preparing the cottages for the next week’s visitors. Our usual cleaning assistant would be in at weekends as well as ourselves. We deal with all maintenance and admin. Guests depart at 10 a.m. and new ones arrive after 4 p.m. at weekends only.
This is very much a people business and, although the cottages are all self-contained and self-catering, some day to day contact with guests is inevitable as is the need generally to keep an eye on things so you can let us know if you spot something that needs attention. Monday to Friday should generally be a time for rest and relaxation in a lovely location.
Most of our guests are English speaking and fluent French is not necessary. Timings are flexible but could start any time from May through to September or we would happily welcome you if you would like to start from May and continue until September.
The accommodation is two bedroomed and we would not object to you having friends or family for a visit while you are here.
