Hi ... my wife and I are in our mid-fifties, and we live in beautiful Prescott, Arizona, which is about halfway between Phoenix and the Grand Canyon. Sedona is about 1.5 hours north of us. We will be on vacation for one month (estimated the month of May), and we need someone to stay in our comfortable single-level townhouse located in a desirable and very safe neighborhood that is located 5 minutes from the downtown Prescott square. The house sitter must also care for our sweet 14-year-old Labrador who pretty much sleeps all day. First thing in the morning our Lab must be let out to pee every 1-2 hours, but later in the day about every 3 hours is OK. Since she is an older dog, she has an accident on her bed a few times a week, thus her bed must be laundered regularly in our W/D. She stays on the tile floor next to the kitchen, and has never been permitted in the rest of the house. We love our sweet girl, and you will too. We are seeking a single sitter or a couple who are non-smokers, and since our place is a two-bedroom two-bath townhouse we don’t want extra house guests coming to stay (a few days is OK). Besides, one of our bedrooms has been converted to an office, so the king-sized bed in the master bedroom is the only bed. We picked our Lab out of the litter and she has always been with us, so we want to find someone who will take good care of her while we are gone. Other than having to pee fairly often, she is super easy to care for because she is too old to go for walks (maybe a block a couple times a week) and like I said she pretty much sleeps all day. If you wanted to visit Sedona, the Grand Canyon, or other nearby places and plan to be gone for several hours, you would have to take our girl with you and let her sleep in the vehicle (which she is very happy to do); we have a car ramp that you could use to get her in and out (since she weighs about 75 lbs. and cannot jump up into cars anymore).
