We are in the Brisbane area now and available for further sitting after June 1012. We are a cheerful, independent and very responsible married couple - very fit for our age, who would be the perfect candidates to mind your home, pets and gardens in your absence. I have background as a Professional Fire Officer specialized in Fire Safety in the NZ Fire Service and my wife served in the Philippine Police for 26 years. We are clean living, don't smoke or take drugs! Please check out our photos, police clearance and excellent references that are listed on this site. I have personally owned, and had much experience looking after property, and am capable of carrying out any necessary maintenance needed in the home, gardens and also the loving caring for your pets. After retiring from the NZ Fire Service I worked as a Maintenance Supervisor for Multi-national Pricewaterhouse Coopers at their NZ head office in Auckland. If we sat for you, we would have plenty of time to lavish on your pets and home. Home & pet caring is our chosen way of life and we are not just looking for a sightseeing 'holiday on the cheap'at your expense. We will respect your property as if it were our own, and on your return, try and leave it for you, in as good a condition as you left it! UPDATE 25th May 2011: We are currently housesitting in the Brisbane,Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast area and are essentially booked up until the end of November 2011.
