We are middle-aged published writers (30's, 40's) trying to finish several books. We are just returning to the states from Wales, where Michaela has been a student (PHD)for the last two years. Previously, in the three years leading up to living in Wales, we moved between artist residencies and house-sitting positions. Since we started house-sitting we've cared for a wide range of animals - from chickens to sheep to rabbits to dogs to six rescued cats in the same house(with unique and semi-wild personalities all their own). We've also worked on an organic farm, so are pretty handy around the garden.
