We (John and Sylvia) are coming to Adelaide from Tauranga New Zealand to help our daughter get ready for her wedding. (Easter weekend,19th April 2014)We are excited about coming but as weddings are not cheap it would help if we could find a place to stay where costs are at a minimum. We are experienced housecarers having house sat for over 2 years in a number of locations both in Australia and NZ. We finished our housesitting stint 2 and a half years ago when we bought our current house in Tauranga.
John has had experience mowing large lawns with ride on mowers. We have looked after cats, dogs, rabbits, birds, gold fish, chooks and even the odd wild snake! We have also looked after gardens and swimming pools as well.
We are thinking of a place just for ourselves but if the opportunity to housesit a larger property where up to 8 people could stay then that might solve a problem of where to house the rest of the family over that period. So there it is. either a place just for the two of us or a place for the whole family. We are open to options.
Our flight arrives in 10th April but we could probably find accommodation for a day or two if the 10th dosn't suit. We will fly back home 22nd April after Easter weekend.
Our daughter is a teacher in Adelaide so could come and meet you on our behalf beforehand if you wished
