We are a mature couple with two grown sons looking for the extended travel experience of actually living in the area. We have gone the hotel route,but want to get the real feel. My husband & I have been home owners for twenty-six years, so we would respect your property as we would want someone to respect ours. We are very interested in housesitting in France. We lived in the Parisian suburbs and in centrally located San Junien, close to Limoges,for three years during the 90's and would very much like to go back. Since we were residents and not just tourists, we are familiar with French life, adequately speak the language and respect their customs. We are not your typical "ugly Americans". My husband's work took us there and we would love to return, but have not been afforded the opportunity. It would be a more rewarding trip for us if we could housesit instead of staying in hotels. We love animals! We have always had a dog. Our first "child" was a German Shepherd named Duke and our poodle, Fluffy, lived with us for seventeen plus years ( of those being in France - lucky dog!). We lost our beloved black lab,Buster, after / wonderful years. We now have an eleven year old yellow lab,Yeller (Yes, our son named her after Old Yeller.), an eleven year old tuxedo lap cat, Oreo, and a three year old rescued cat,Parker, that is very entertaining! They are part of our family! Once again, we are mature responsible homeowners who would treat your home as if it as our own. Thank you for your consideration! P.S.
