We are a English and Norwegian couple who after retirement have accepted several house and animal sittings.We are members of HouseCarers since 2008 and up to 2013 we mainly house sat in the UK.Then in Florida as we went for long term holiday. A variety of animals have been in our care: Cats, dogs,hamsters,rats, hens and sheep. David had both cat and dog in his house hold when his children were growing up. In December 2013 we had our first sit in Florida/Jacksonville also through this web side.
Through employment we have for many years lived overseas in different places and as a result we have also let our own property for long periods.
We do have some obligations of our own of course such as: properties in UK, Sweden and Norway to look after and we go on holidays. As for holidays we would like to include house-/pet sitting as a mean to feel less "touristy" whilst away. As the last dependent parent just passed away we are now also able to travel further afield to help out.
Your property would be in very good and responsible hands with us as we are down to earth, experienced and practical (non smoking) people.
