I'm a writer with new flexibility after retiring from my newspaper job, and my husband, a Realtor, and I share many qualities ideal for house-sitting. We're a mature couple in our sixties and are both extremely neat and responsible. We'll treat your home as if it were the charming stone colonial we've owned for thirteen years in a suburb of Philadelphia. We both have wanderlust, now that our son is on his own, and will travel almost anywhere for assignments up to a month or so. We're both healthy, active, curious and completely reliable. We'll be diligent about the responsibilities asked of us, in return for a chance to see an appealing part of the world in a way that's easy on the pocketbook. We've had wonderful experiences housesitting in France, New Mexico and Florida. We can provide excellent references. We look forward to providing tender pet and plant care and keeping your house safe well maintained while you're away.
