We are a retired couple living on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. Prior to our move in 2010, we had resided in Darwin in the Northern Territory for over 30 years. We are still keen to travel and explore cities and towns in Australia and overseas. I am a Mechanical Engineer with general handyman, woodwork and mechanical skills. My wife and I enjoy outdoor activities such as cycling, fishing, gardening, bush walking, camping and kayaking. We often volunteer for charity, local and interstate events, particularly those related to cycling. We are members of the Noosa group of the University of the Third Age and an international running group, the hash house harriers. We have owned a home with a pool and garden. We live on an acre block which requires gardening expertise such as the use of a ride on lawn mower. We have our own transport. We have had experience with house and apartment sitting, both in Australia and overseas countries such as Mexico, Singapore and Japan primarily looking after cats, dogs and birds. We have had criminal history checks and references can be supplied.
