I am a happily divorced, self contained, organised, tidy person who loves travel, animals, the countryside and being on my own to get on with writing and painting.

I am a retired naval officer, artist and art teacher. Quite a mixture, but my professions have given me an organised yet flexible approach to life. I have owned more than 10 houses so I have plenty of hands on experience of looking after a home and all that it entails.

I have an intuitive feeling for the needs of animals and enjoy their company as much as (if not more than) humans.

I need internet access but very little else (but a public swimming pool nearby would be perfect!)
