"Best sitter I have ever had" - blind-dog owner in Brisbane.
Very experienced house sitter with more than 40 house sits done and you can ring owners for references.
I love animals and enjoy relating to them. Some that I have minded were blind, deaf, frail or crippled.
However, as I am getting older, nowadays I only mind cats and small dogs who do not need long walks.
Here is a reference from the owner of a dog who became sick just before she was due to leave.....
I can thoroughly recommend Joyce. When I left I had a very sick dog. My dog had picked up some nasty gastric bug; I’ll spare you the details but they were pretty gross and constant. Joyce came with me to the local vet so that we both had info on which to make the decision about whether to continue with arrangements or abort my holiday and the consequent dog-sitting. Given the choice, Joyce decided she would carry on in spite of caring for a sick dog who needed antibiotics and a rather ghastly pink liquid squirted into her mouth twice a day. Result? I came home to a happy, healthy dog and an immaculate home with all post collected. The woman is a legend within my local community as many people knew how sick my beloved dog was. Thank you, Joyce. I know any future ‘sits’ you do will be in safe hands. .......
I want you to feel at ease while away, knowing that I will treat your pets, home and garden with caring attention.
One Adelaide owner ed me: "Sincere thanks to you for looking after our home. It was so nice to get home yesterday after such a very long day to find the place in better condition that I left it !!"
Your home will look lived in and the mail will be collected. The garden will be reliably watered.
I respect your property and your privacy.
Quiet-living, as I am a senior lady. I don't go out at night. Non- smoker.
People have been very happy with the condition of animals and home. e.g. a thank-you : "Thank you also for leaving the place so immaculate. Happy dog plus clean house to come home to was just great."
