We are a self employed couple. Our work season is from mid-March through late July. We are available to house/farm sit in our off-season. We lived on a farm in Keremeos, British Columbia for 12 years but with our children having moved on we let it go at the end of 2011. Our work takes us on the road from March to July so we don't need a home base any more. Our business involves shearing sheep, alpacas and llamas all over Western Canada. We are an active non smoking couple. We are into running, swimming, hiking and just being outdoors. We have had many pets in the past but can't keep our own because of our work so we would love to look after yours. We also have had different livestock over the years and work with animals. Rod loves to garden and look after the yard and we are handy and capable when it comes to taking care of a house. We have 500 clients whom we have sheared for for 20 years and know us as dependable and honest. References available upon request.
