Housesitter Profile

I am a single professional woman looking for a home to care for. I would prefer a place that has a garden or is semi-rural and (hopefully) has a dog that I could look after.
I have recently separated from my husband and left my beautiful labrador behind in the process, so I am starting again from scratch. I miss having a dog around, so I'd love to look after one at a housesit. I am a responsible, house proud person and would treat your home as my own.
I am a non-smoker and I love cooking and gardening. If you have some veggies that need tending to, then that would make me happy as well! I adore all pets.
I usually work as a freelance environmental scientist however I have decided to take time out of my career to reevaluate my life direction. So I would have time both during the week and on the weekends to look after your animals. I am extremely respectful of peoples spaces, so if you would prefer a person who needs to be vegetarian in your house, then I am more than happy to respect that wish. I'm looking for a quiet place.
I am an experienced house sitter in the UK and Melbourne and can provide references in both countries. I aim to leave the house in better shape than I find it. I am used to looking after pets and fitting in with their requirements - I've looked after everything from fish, dogs, cats and birds.
I would obviously put money towards utility bills if you would need me to. I don't watch TV much at all but I do love reading books.
