Hi, I am 54 year old fit, healthy, reliable and honest teacher with excellent references. Originally from England, I have been a home owner for 30 years in Vancouver. I am very comfortable and experienced with care of both dogs and cats. (I have owned a border collie and cocker spaniel cross). I am a keen gardener, hiker and cook. I am a non-smoker with previous house sitting experience. Having taken an indefinite leave from elementary school teaching I am looking to settle and care for another home, to discover the culture and people of a place. In the past year I have house sat in Vancouver, Seattle, Western Australia, Tasmania, San Francisco and Vancouver Island. I recently wrote a 12 page booklet A Beginner's Guide To House Sitting, which can be found on my blog, along with guest posts from other house sitters. I can assure owners that their home and pets will be well taken care of. I am tidy, friendly and sociable and have a positive attitude.
