My wife and I have worked in Washington State as teachers, and in administration for several years. The only way we could travel and see the world was by way of teaching Internationally.
We return for Christmas, and summers. We sold all are disposable belongings and have stayed with our children and friends (Hotels) when we have returned for the summer months.
We have three daughters, two with graduate degrees, and all three are married. We have one, two year old grandaughter and a six month old grandson. Add a six month old boy. We are so blessed.
We have stayed with family, but value their privacy needs as well as ours. We have felt a bit in the way in the past.
I have been a Rotarian for twenty years, and am very community service minded. My wife has taught grade school for over twenty years now. We are both healthy, non-smokers. My athletic days have slowed me some, but I still golf, and throw the football to my students! We like to watch soccer, football, basketball, and baseball (I like to watch golf).
We have been home owners, including the home I grew up in. We will take exceptional care of your place. My wife has a green thumb and loves those roses! I have bought and remodeled homes for years; and can do some upgrades if your desire (roofing, painting etc.) We used to live on the Sound, and love the water! My folks were nature lovers! We camped every day and weekend possible; we love the ocean and mountains!
