I am a single, travelling teacher, and have been away from home for the past four years. I am very much looking forward to getting back to Michigan to enjoy the four seasons, my family, and all the other things I've missed about the states. My mum always taught us that if someone is nice enough to allow you to be a guest in their home, you should always find a way to leave it a little nicer than you found it. Rest assured, at nearly thirty years old and an ocean away, I still listen to my mother. I'm an American and have lived in the UK, New Zealand, and now Australia. I love all the travelling I do; the only disadvantage is not being able to have pets of my own. I would love to take great care of your animals. I am an active person and will be keen to go for lots of walks and trips to the dog parks in the area. I grew up with dogs so I'm used to cleaning up after them. I also have experience looking after cats, rodents and reptiles. I am good with a lawn mower. I'm concerned about the environment and therefore try to conserve energy whenever I can. I don't smoke and I'm good at housework. I have done some house sitting in the US, UK, New Zealand and Australia, and will be happy to provide contact details for those families. Because I'm an international teacher, I also have clean police checks from the US, UK, and NZ. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
