Hi,
I am 57 years old single woman. I am Czech-American, living and working in California since Few years ago i was forced to retire, after working for over 20 years in the field of art conservation (preservation and restoration of paintings), and education.
Although, my profile does not include references (I avoid computer as much as I can...), I will meet you personally if the distance permits, and give you my excellent references from the happy house owners, I had encountered via this site since late 2011.
Prior to creating this profile I enjoyed pet and house sitting occasionally for my friends, and friends of my friends.
I was a happy owner of a large breed dogs (german shepherd mix), several cats, and other small house pets, throughout my lifetime. I enjoy animals and bond with them easily. I do talk to animals....
I also enjoy light garden care like watering and weeding.
Being in transition and having my son grown has given me this unique opportunity to explore living in different parts of California, and hopefully farther...
I am trust worthy (was employed in a museum, had my own business restoring valuable pieces of art...), private, reliable, friendly and caring. Non competitive, peaceful, and a team player. I am also creative and resourceful artist and innovator. I enjoy making my surroundings beautiful.

I am non-smoker, eat mostly vegetarian (sometimes fish), and like to keep the place where i stay clean and organized.
I enjoy hiking in nature, reading, movies, music, art, yoga, meditation, writing & animals.
