We are a young UK couple in our mid-late 20's who are currently traveling the world & hope to see as much of the countries that we visit as we can. My name is Ian Evans and I am a physiotherapist for professional sport's teams in the UK whilst my partner Nicky Tyler works in social care and cares for children with complex physical and medical needs. Previously, Nicky has experience of working closely with and owning various birds of prey and reptiles. She is therefore very confident and enjoys caring for many different animals.
We both understand the value of a property as we were separately renting for a couple of years prior to leaving the UK and we both take great pride in maintenance and cleanliness. We have very good housesitting experience from both the UK and in the US as part of our travels and were involved in 2 medium/long term sits in LA and San Diego and a medium term sit back in the UK. We really enjoyed all these experiences and all the housesits were very successful. We both have pets back at home with our families for which we cared for and miss greatly!! We would love to care for an animal(s) on our trip as we love animals and would give them as much attention as they wished!
We are presently traveling in South America as part of our round the world trip and will be coming to Australia at the beginning on April. We are keen to house-sit on our trip as we really enjoyed the experiences we had whilst house-sitting in the UK and US and hope that housesitting in Australia will provide us with an opportunity to visit areas of QLD that are rarely visited by backpackers.
We do plan to stay in Australia for an extended period of time and enjoy what the country has to offer and therefore, we will be aiming to gain employment within our respected fields. This will however, bear no difference on the high level of quality we will bring to the housesitting assignment.
