About Us Hello! We're Natalie and Jim, a couple in our thirties from Phoenix, Arizona. We've recently traded in our corporate jobs for a more flexible lifestyle as online consultants. We both love to travel and have visited more than twenty countries in Europe and Latin America. Now that we work remotely, we'd like to see the world at a more leisurely pace, one home at a time!
Why We Want to Housesit House sitting gives us an affordable way to enjoy extended stays in homes around the world. We prefer the comforts of working from a private home (rather than an office or hotel) and, since we've got a job to do, we'll be spending most of our time on your property. As your trusted housesitters, we're looking forward to settling in to your neighborhood, buying groceries in local markets, and visiting nearby parks for recreation. We also enjoy the companionship of pets and welcome the opportunity to make some new furry friends.
What We Bring to the Assignment We have experience housesitting and petsitting for family and friends in the United States. We grew up with pets (dogs, cats, fish, mice, hamsters) and have taken care of small birds, too. As former home owners, we're comfortable handling maintenance issues and minor emergencies associated with caring for your property. Jim is a very handy guy as a certified auto mechanic, bike mechanic, and registered professional engineer. Natalie speaks basic Spanish, is certified in CPR and first aid, and has cared for her own flower and vegetable gardens. We're non-smokers, healthy, and enjoy being active!
