I have been traveling around the world for the past few years:- as l renovated & sold my house in Australia and my children have grown up.
Since April 2012, l have worked on 7 House-sitting properties: 2 x Greece, 1 x England, 1 x Turkey, 1 x Italy, !x Spain & 1x Portugal: for a total of 7.5 months. The duties have involved both Animal care and Gardening. I have worked & cared for: Horses, Donkey's, Goats, Dogs, Cats, Turtles, Guinea Fowl, Turkeys, Hens & Roosters, Parrots, Ducks, Geese and Fish.
Previously, I have volunteered in the : Galapagos Islands- teaching English to Children and Adults; Peru- attending to the Veggie garden & waitressing in their Restaurant; Corfu, Greece- child minding, general house duties & computer work; Bolivia- Puma walking in the jungle; Portugal- Horse-Riding school, mucking out stables etc. Peloponnese, Greece, planting veggies in the garden & looking after farm animals; and lastly Spain & Poland teaching Conversational English. To name just a few of the voluntary positions l have performed!
I have many diverse skills both in manual trades as well as office skills. I am a Professional in Event Management and worked for NGO's in Australia - thus l understand the importance of work and rest. When 'You' rest.... I will 'work' keeping your home in the pristine condition you left it in. I take pride and honour in the privilege in caring for the Hosts most loved family members - namely Moggies and Mutts and of course the garden.
I am committed to Animal welfare and have respect for all life - thus your home, animals and gardens are well cared for when you "rest".
I have my own motorhome, so l do not require transport or the use of your vehicle. But more importantly l have a wonderful GPS that will get me to your home and will not require a pick up or drop off to the nearest train or airport!!!
I am available anywhere in Europe - West, Central or East; Africa or Asia.
