I've owned several of my own homes (Hawaii, California, Montana,) as well as been a landlord; I know what it takes to care for someone's home as if it is your own and leave it better than you found it. I have professional cleaning experience as well, so 'sparkling' is what my touch has been called!
I am a mother and grandmother, whose life now is about flexibility and new horizons. I write, am developing my own blog, and teach English online, therefore my skills are transportable.
I love animals, have been the companion to many cats and dogs, birds and other small pets over the years. (My current charge is my daughter's seven-year-old Jack Russell terrier.)
I am familiar and adept at the care of precious items, appliances, wood floors, antique furniture, and much more, having owned them myself over the years.
Now I am down to a suitcase, my portable electronics, and a heart to relocate, especially to Manhattan. I am carving out a lifestyle that offers the service of my many years experience as a home/pet owner, while allowing me to pursue my arts.
Fit and active, I cycle everywhere right now, and love to walk. I am also a gardener and have a green-thumb with houseplants.
