I am looking for someone to stay with my wonderful 11-year-old cats while I take a winter trip for about 4 weeks Jan 25 - Feb 27, 2015. My cozy, private town home is adjacent to a small woods in Bloomington MN. Its convenient Twin Cities location is near local attractions, great shopping, cultural venues and excellent restaurants.
Bloomington is home of the Mall of America but I live on the west side, close to lots of nature with nearby lakes and parks. It is cold but winter activities abound in the area and state. Hyland Lake Park Preserve, minutes away, features Richardson Nature Center and ski and snowboarding hills.
Quiet location on a small cul-du-sac in a pleasant complex. Updated eat-in kitchen, living room, den, 1 and 3/4 baths and 1100 square feet finished space on the main level with unfinished basement, including washer and dryer. Near neighborhoods and open spaces with all the necessities minutes away.
Cable with On Demand and DVD player in den, DVD in bedroom, Cable in kitchen. Internet WIFI for your own computer/laptop. Coffee shop a block away as well as restaurants and take out.
Reliable, respectful, neat caregiver with references needed. No-smoking or drugs.
Space to park a vehicle or motorhome outside. Small porch at the front door requires a little snow shoveling. An entry via attached garage is another option and requires no shoveling. Driveway and main sidewalk are cleared by Association.
Ideal if you could arrive one day or more before and stay on your own to meet me and the cats and learn more about the house. One cat takes a pill crushed in his food (currently twice daily) so you need to monitor the feedings. If you have experience giving a cat a pill in its mouth that is another option.
