Hello our names are Amanda and Guy and we are really interested in looking after your home whilst you are away having your next adventure!
We will be looking for a house sit for this coming winter. We will be available mid November 2014 to mid March 2015.
I am in my mid forties and Guy is in his early fifties. We house sat for a month over Christmas 2012 in a charming Cortijo in Lubrin Spain. Here we looked after two dogs, a cat and three rental apartments. We have also housesit for two other owners in France for a total of 3 months. These owners had chickens, cats and dogs. As homeowners, we understand the anxiety of entrusting the care of your home to relative strangers. You can relax in the knowledge that we have the background and experience to provide your home and pets the same level of care and security that they would have if you were home.
We offer a quality service based upon seven years experience as Wardens on Caravan Static and Touring Parks. This gives us the freedom to work in the UK from March to November and travel during the winter. We have been at a lovely rural 56 acre park in Oxfordshire for the past 6 years and will be returning for the 2014 season. We also worked for 2 seasons at a Park in rural Wales.
We have sound customer care skills developed through our past experience and in our current job role. This also includes diy, maintenance, gardening, and housekeeping to a very high standard. Guy also has knowledge of swimming pool maintenance. Our job is very varied and we have experienced most situations and can deal with anything that is presented to us. References can be provided on request.
Our current lifestyle does not lend to having pets but we have had dogs, cats, ferrets, mice, a large aquarium and a 26ft aviary in the past.
We are very honest and trustworthy. Your house, garden and pets will always be safe, secure and well maintained. We have been lucky enough to have travelled extensively and for the last few winters we have been travelling Europe in our trusty campervan Reg. We are therefore looking for a housesit in France, Spain or Portugal but we would also consider other areas of Europe.
