We are Isabell & Dirk, a couple, both 31 years old and we come from Berlin / Germany. We are travelling since November After 8 months in Bali, we arrived in Australia in August 2012 and started our first house sitting in Melbourne. Afterwards, we went to Tasmania for our next two house sits. Since November, we are in New Zealand & have been working for board&lodging. References can be provided if required. About us: I (Isabell) have studied education but I have decided not to enter the teaching profession and want to become a midwife instead. In 2011, I have completed a 2-month internship in the delivery room at a Berlin hospital and would also be interested in a likewise internship in Australia, especially since I am considering to apply for a midwife training in Australia or New Zealand. I am very fond of animals (with my family at home in Berlin, I have got a dachshund named Lotte). Dirk has studied graphic & motion design and has been working independently over the Internet since Additionally, he is a musician & enjoys playing the guitar. He is born in the countryside and his father is a farmer. So Dirk is used to gardening and farm work. We are both very open-minded people but also discreet. We love the outdoors and like to keep us in it. We find it exciting to get to know other countries and cultures and to meet interesting people. We focus on a healthy diet - during our time in Bali we have discovered the benefits of raw food for us and now eat 60% raw. Also in general, a healthy lifestyle is important to us. We both have a rather calm demeanor, are conscientious and reliable. For your home and your pets we are the perfect House Sitters! :)
