I've been a house sitter over the years in Key West and Los Angeles. For most of January, 2013 I house and dog sat in Ojai, California, for friends of mine who were traveling. I cared for their three small dogs, who I thoroughly enjoyed.
I'm a writer, very quiet, neat, and a good cook who cares about healthy food and a clean kitchen. I've published books with a major publisher and I've also worked as a full-time journalist for a Key West newspaper and have written hundreds of freelance articles for various publications in Florida and Los Angeles and nationally. I've taught art history at Otis College of Art and Design.
Because I'm a writer, I'm usually around the house as I complete book projects and write articles. I value quiet time, contemplative time, being in nature, and getting my work done. I love aesthetically pleasing places, art, and film. As for the outdoors, I love fresh air and the ocean, sunsets, and plants. I like to take walks for exercise. I like to meditate by contemplating nature and the stars.
I grew up with dogs so I'm fond of them. I also owned two cats at one time in my life and also enjoy them. House care and pet care complements my work as a writer.
