Im Michael and Im looking to come sit your house this summer.
Time is going way too fast and I would like to live in as many places as possible all over the world before I hit the big 30. So Far I have lived in the main cities in Ireland. Dublin, Cork & Galway but grew up on a small farm in the very west of the country in a county called Mayo. Outside of Ireland I lived in Berlin for a year, travelled to numerous locations in Poland, Italy, Spain and mainland Britain.
I have a big desire to travel but also enjoy Music, History, Politics, Wildlife & Nature. Growing up on a farm I have been exposed to animals from a young age. We have about 30 acres of land and farm cattle, chickens & ducks. We have had Sheep, Pigs, a horse and Rabbits over the years. Of course not to forget the numerous cats & dogs.
In recent years I have taken an interest in Horticulture and currently planning a plantation of trees on our land with my father. I frequently tend to the shrubbery around out the cottage I live in.
The cottage is a very interesting building. As a child I remember working on it with my parents, renovating it into a modern home. We put a thatched straw roof on it and completely gutted the inside. Its 200 years old and now a joy to live in.
Currently I run a small eBay shop and work from home. The shop was set up about 2 years ago. It runs well and Im very meticulous about how I brand and how its looks to the customers. I work long hours but have a good balance with my everyday life. Im open to work at other jobs whilst travelling. I may continue to run my Irish store while away as I did with my Berlin store when I initially moved back to Ireland November 2012.
My outlook on life is what is yours wont pass you by. If something is right it will happen.
I fly to JFK New York on the 20th of June and plan to stay 3 months or longer. I will work from home and maybe take up a part time job if possible.
