I enjoy traveling to new places. Housesitting gives me the chance to explore an area and at the same time be of service while the homeowner gets to travel as well. A win-win!
I have managed a bed and breakfast on Ocracoke Island, worked as a wrangler in Hawaii as well as an art consultant, journeyed throughout communities in NC as a visiting artist in residence--to name a few of my occupations. Most recently, I served as a property manager for a home in Hawaii.
And..as you may deduce from the above description--variety is the spice of life for me.
I enjoy caring for animals: cats, dogs, horses..and getting to know them and their unique personalities.
I am traveling with JT Power, my partner who has recently retired from a year career as an Emergency Room physician.
