As a homeowner/landlady for a Laguna Beach Charmer for 30 plus years, (which loosely translated means that the house needed a lot of work), I became skillful at "fixing" and doing some landscaping, tile work, carpentry, dry wall, painting, roofing, and plumbing, writing up rental agreements, and qualifying renters. I'm now retired from teaching and from being a landlady and available for short to mid term house sits within the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
Travelling is enjoyable to me; and my main motivation to care-taking homes and animals is that it brings me a sense of belonging.
I am a dog person to the max - major dog partners in my life have chosen me to train, travel, and bond with them. I'm in between dogs right now and I borrow dogs for my dog fix.
As an active and fit person, physically, intellectually, and emotionally - swim, bicycle and workout daily here at home in Southern Ca. I participate in a meditation group. As a volunteer, I teach ESL at a San Juan Capistrano volunteer project, and volunteer regularly at a beachside State Park very closeby. Anything here that resonates with you?
