We are an active, non-smoking, non-drinking married couple who have recently retired from our jobs as teacher and humanitarian worker. We want to escape our cold Canadian winters and see the world from the perspective of local people - immerse ourselves in the culture, enjoy the food, explore the cities and countryside. We are musical and enjoy a variety of indoor and outdoor activities. We have been homeowners for over thirty years and currently own a home in the country that my husband and sons built which has provided us extensive experience caring for buildings and grounds. We have experience in construction, repairs, fencing, maintenance, cleaning, etc. We have loved and cared for our pet dogs, cats and horses through the years, although recently have developed allergies that may make it difficult for us to live with pets in the house. We will be responsible and respectful of your privacy and possessions; treating them with the care we would our own. We will provide police clearance and character references if desired.
