We are self funded semi retirees, and are available to farm/house and/or pet sit for you. We are animal lovers, and in the past we have had cats and dogs and are comfortable with most animals. Our last home was situated on four acres, and we are keen gardeners, missing our own garden and chooks very much, so it would be a pleasure to be able to potter around and care for yours.
He has managed Guest Houses, Hotels and Caravan Parks, she is computer literate and is a freelance journalist. Since being on the road around Austrlalia since mid 2011, together we have worked in housekeeping and maintenance & admin roles at Birdsville Caravan Park (Qld), Port Vincent Caravan Park & Prairie Hotel at Parachilna in SA.
We also helped maintain the house yard and cooked for the owner on a 30,000 acre cattle property near Winton, Qld. We helped out in William Bay as gardener/maintenance for accommodation cottages, and looked after the house cow, goats and chooks, and near Perth, we have been gardening in return for our site. Since 2014, we have had house/pet sits in Western Australia, South East Qld, Northern NSW, Wollongong, Bright in Victoria and Launceston in Tasmania. we have looked after farms in Queensland, NSW and Victoria. We were recently back in Bright (Victoria) caretaking a 100 acre property farmstay with boarding kennels for cats and dogs.
We have police checks and references. We are no longer on the road, but live in Warwick, Queensland. We are looking for a house/farm sits in Central Queensland to Northern NSW.
