My partner Jamie and I (Ken) are currently house sitting on Maui and we are excited to return to the mainland. Ideally, We would like to house sit in New Mexico (Santa Fe/Toas) or Northern California but we are open to other locations. We will take great care of your house, plants and animals while you are away. We are available starting mid December,
I have over 2 years experience caretaking a property on Maui, HI, and both Jamie and I have house sat, taken care of animals, and tended to plants. We enjoy gardening, being outdoors and have lived on farms in the past. I have experience landscaping, basic maintenance and repairs, and chainsaw work.
We both grew up with animals and love caring for them. We have lived with dogs, cats, ducks, chickens, horses, birds, mice, hamsters, guinea pigs, fish and pigs.
We have also worked jobs that require a high degree of trust between us and our clients. Jamie has worked with babies and children- ages 3 months to 5 years. I have worked as a caregiver for the elderly and special needs adults as well as a counselor with at-risk youth. I am also a hospice volunteer.

We have traveled to many places including Australia, Spain, Ireland, Belgium, Amsterdam, South Africa, India, Nepal, Mexico, Canada, Alaska, and Hawaii. We have staying with many families abroad and have also tried couch surfing.
We are very excited about living in new environments and soaking in the experiences that may come our way. Experiencing and integrating a wide variety of cultures has enriched our lives greatly and there has been something of value to gain from each place we have been.
We feel passionate about nature, music, art, yoga, meditation and healthy lifestyles. We do not smoke and maintain active lives. We make a conscious effort to act mindfully, respect space and all living beings.
