We have a large home, and have two very well behaved children. We travel often, mainly for my business. Unfortunately, it is always planned, and there is very little opportunity for exposure to the world outside the financial markets. My wife and partner of over twenty years, Wendy, has an extensive Real Estate Portfolio, and a background in development. We both love animals, and are very down to earth. We live in an affluent area in Vancouver, and travel between a few vacation homes. We are not looking to be paid for the time we spend looking after your home. You would be doing us a favour.
We all feel at home in any environment, due to my wife's outward bound lifestyle and past program in which she excelled at. She taught CPR, was a Lifeguard Trainer and First Aid Instructor (and swim teacher/instructor). Her many years as a Head Lifeguard, and riding the ambulance to gain experience in her field, while in University, left her with many survival skill, that today go untapped. So, we are up for anything!
We live in an urban area. As such, we would glady welcome the opportunity to care for a variety of animals. A family member has a working farm, and we love to spend time there, helping when and where we can. I also have a black belt in Karate. So, we are prepared for emergencies in remote areas, if need be.
We are both highly educated, and though we run lucrative businesses, we would like, as a family, to experience a change…. Life is too short. We are able to handle a variety of situations, and if anything may present a challenge, all the better.
