I am a single, nonsmoking professional female in my 40's. I house sit in the Bay area full time. I have been a house and pet sitter for over six years and have many excellent references.
I work from home via remote as a grant writer/consultant for nonprofit organizations. House sitting has been a good way for me to live comfortably in the Bay area on my 'nonprofit salary'. I house and pet sit in exchange for accomodations; I do not usually charge a fee unless the household has one or more pets with special needs (such as medications) or circumstances requiring a larger daily time commitment.
I am very clean, responsible and respectful of my client's homes; several of my references will tell you that I often leave their home in cleaner condition than they left it. I have experience maintaining plants and gardens as well. I have my own car and am happy to use it, if needed, to transport pets for walks or trips to the vet, or other necessary household-related errands. I am responsible, quiet, and keep my client's homes clean and tidy in their absence.
