Aloha. Looking for a house sitter for farm while vacationing on the mainland. We have chickens, cats, dogs, and Guinea pigs will result in 1 hours work/day.  Private house on 3 acres with ocean views and plenty of places to relax. Quiet neighborhood. Volcano 1 hours drive, beautiful views of south point 20 minutes away, Kona 1 hours drive. Privacy, Privacy, Privacy!!! We would prefer someone with a drivers license (you do need a car out here which we may be able to provide) and we also have a business opportunity to possibly make some extra money if you are interested, which would include cleaning and transporting rental cars. We have a 5 and 6 year old so house is set up for small children or family (bunk bed)

House/pet sitting for Jana and Gabe was a breeze.  Even though they had several cats, a dog, chickens, and an aquarium, they were all very easy to take care of.  I especially enjoyed taking care of their chickens, as I had never done that before and hey, free fresh eggs!

Jana and Gabe were kind, considerant, and generous, making sure I had everything I needed.  They had an easy to maintain swimming pool and hot tub for me to enjoy, as well as a huge deck to take advantage of the wonderful Hawaiian climate.  The bed was heavenly - I wish mine at home was so comfortable.  Communication before and during the sit was excellent. They gave me info on little known snorkeling spots that were better than some of the famous spots.  The wifi was fast and reliable.  They were out in the peaceful countryside of the Big Island but just minutes from the grocery store and several small shops and restaurants. . They let me use one of their cars so I didn’t need to rent one for the month, which was a fantastic benefit.  Thanks Jana and Gabe for the opportunity to spend a month in Hawaii!
